INTRODUCTION TO TACTICAL FIRST AID

Instructor: Andrew Snyder, BS, NREMT-P, FP-C
This course goes beyond what is traditionally taught in First Aid courses, and focuses on how to treat life-threatening injuries that are typically encountered by those who carry and use firearms. The course follows the standards of Tactical Combat Casualty Care, which is the training course developed by the military for deploying servicemen and women. This training will better prepare you to treat these injuries should they occur to yourself, a friend, or a loved one.

- Practical Exercises
Andrew Snyder, BS, NREMT-P, FP-C : Andy is currently a full-time Law Enforcement Officer, Tactical Team Member, and Firearms Instructor, as well as having over 19 years of experience as a Paramedic. He is currently Board Certified as a Flight Paramedic, and is additionally employed as a Helicopter Flight Paramedic by a Philadelphia-area Level 1 Trauma Center. He has extensive experience in Tactical and Trauma Medicine, and has served as a Tactical Paramedic for his agency’s SWAT Team. Andy is also an accomplished competitive shooter in 3-Gun, USPSA, 2-Gun, and Long Range Shooting.
